The Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS), Comrade Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, on Thursday, 9th April 2026, presided over the management first-quarter meeting and performance review session with Area Revenue Officers.
Declaring the session open, the Executive Chairman expressed appreciation to His Excellency, the Executive The Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani (CON), for his consistent support to the Service. He also commended the Kaduna State House of Assembly, under the leadership of the Honourable Speaker, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Imam Dahiru, for the speedy passage of the Kaduna State Tax Consolidation Law. He noted that this singular action will significantly propel tax administration in Kaduna State toward becoming the best in Nigeria.
He further called on all Area Revenue Officers to intensify their efforts in implementing the Service’s strategic plan in their daily activities to achieve the set revenue generation targets for the State.
In his remarks, the Executive Director, Revenue Operations, Dr. Muhammad Lawal, continued with the technical session, during which each Area Revenue Office was analysed on a month-by-month basis. At the end of the session, he urged officers to sustain the current momentum, while those with lower performance were advised to adopt improved strategies to enhance revenue generation.
